Yarraville Market on Saturday

I hope everyone in the southern states is surviving this heatwave. It is hot, hot, hot! I had kindy duty today for my 3 year son's group. We stayed inside for the whole time, too hot outside for little ones!

Anyway, if you are in the area on Saturday, pop past and see Sarah and I at the Yarraville Market. There are some fabulous stalls there, you may be able to do some/all of your Christmas shopping!

As I am getting into the Christmas spirit, all of my cards and wall art will be available at special market prices!! Come and see!

Back from a little break..

I'm back from a little blog break! My family and I have just arrived home from a lovely holiday in Mooloolaba. We had 10 glorious days full of sunshine and we made the most of it! There were lots of trips to the beach, to the pool and to the parks. We also found some time to visit Australia Zoo which was well worth it. I'm already thinking about our next trip back there!!

Now I'm back, updating my Made It shop is one of my big priorities. So stay tuned!

I am also really looking forward to Loopy Love's second Yarraville Market appearance on Saturday November 14th. Sarah and I will once again be sharing a stall and I am really looking forward to it. I'll be selling my current range of cards, a few new designs not yet available in store, a selection of fabric wall art, some Christmas cards and tags as well as a few great little stocking stuffer type presents. So please pop by if you are in the area.

Hail storm!

What a wild and woolly afternoon it was here! We had 2 huge hailstorms within about an hour of each other. The 2nd was by far the bigger one. My 3 1/2 year old son thought it was snow! We never see snow in the burbs, so I let him think it was! He had a grand old time playing outside once the storm passed, and we had to watch a big bowl full of hail melt inside!

Dinner tonight

This wintery Melbourne weather makes me still feel like cooking comfort food! I'm feeling organised today, so I have cooked this Shepherd's Pie for dinner tonight. We all love Shepherd's Pie, especially my littlest boy! He gobbles it down with great gusto! I hope everyone enjoys their Monday dinner!

Made It Christmas Gift Guide

Made It Recipe Zine (including one of my recipes!)

Ok, so this post has been a (really, really!) long time in the making! I received my Made It Recipe Zine some time ago and I just love it. Its full of great recipes from all the talented sellers on Made It. There's a great noodle salad recipe on page 4 from Tillytom Designs, an awesome recipe for raspberry lemon meringue pies from Mia Henry on page 9 and a delicious recipe for Sticky Date Pudding on page 12 from Red Letter Studio.

If you look very carefully on page 2, you may just find a recipe from little old me!! The Philly Cream Cheese Log is a step back to the 80's (my Mum used to make it all the time and still does!). It looks interesting (!) and some may say the ingredients do too! But I absolutely guarantee you, it is delicious. My friends insist that I bring it to every BBQ they invite me to! I encougage you to give it a try for the upcoming summer BBQ season. Just serve on a platter with cheeses, biscuits, fruits etc etc. Enjoy!
